At Pittwater Day Surgery, we focus on the special care we offer our patients, children and adults.

We are licensed by NSW Health to admit and operate on boys and girls from the age of 12 months, to teenagers, adolescents, adults and the elderly. We ensure that you and your family will get the very best treatment from local people you can trust.

As a local facility with free parking, patients and their families can be close to home during tough and stressful times.

NSW Health aims to achieve the best possible paediatric care to those facilities who are licensed to admit paediatric patients. There are strict guidelines that require us to engage suitable clinicians and ensure local policies and protocols are in place prior to the granting of a Paediatric Licence.

The expansion of Pittwater Day Surgery has attracted some highly qualified surgeons and some specifically trained paediatric surgeons.

Our  ENT Surgeons are qualified to operate on all age groups and are engaged in the major Children’s Hospitals in Sydney.

Dr Ming Lee is a newly appointed ENT Surgeon and has joined the practice at 20 Bungan St, Mona Vale.

Dr Alex Saxby has been recognised for his service to ENT and has been appointed as a Professor.

All our  Ophthalmologists are trained to care for all age groups in the community, from babies to adults and the elderly.

Dr Matt Spargo has returned from England following his paediatric Ophthalmology specialty training.

Dental Surgeons are all trained to care for patients of all ages and Pittwater Day Surgery has four Dental Surgeons including Assoc Professor Angus Cameron. He specifically cares for paediatric patients and was the senior Dental Surgeon at Westmead Children’s Hospital. Our Gastroenterologists routinely care for teenagers/adolescents in their practice at Peninsula Gastro.

Feel confident your whole family is in safe hands in the care of Pittwater Day Surgery.
