All Pittwater Day Surgery staff are experts in their particular field.
The CEO is Dr Frank Elsworth who is responsible for ensuring all executive decisions and the overall management of the Day Surgery is communicated to all shareholders and staff of Pittwater Day Surgery.
The Director of Nursing is responsible to the CEO and the patients for co-ordinating the Specialists, Nursing, Administrative and Reception staff. The Day Surgery staff act in a professional and caring manner, ensuring best practice and optimum patient satisfaction. The DON is also responsible for postoperative care.
The Nursing staff are responsible to the DON for the smooth running of the Day Surgery by following the Day Surgery’s relevant Policies and Procedures and protocols. This will then translate to the patients and their carers by providing a seamless team effort in patient care.
The Fund Manager is responsible for obtaining all relevant information to make up the patient’s Day Surgery file, provision to the patient of informed financial consent and the provision of data to the various Health Funds and NSW Department of Health.
