Dr John Flood is committed to providing you with the highest standards and latest plastic surgery techniques in all cosmetic procedures and facial rejuvenation.

At your initial plastic surgery consultation Dr Flood will discuss your individual needs so you will feel completely confident with the decisions and procedures you choose. He will offer all options and explain each procedure, expected results, complications and any other issues you require.

Dr Flood completed his Plastic Surgical training in Sydney. He then undertook a Fellowship in Maxillo-facial Surgery in South Western University, Dallas, Texas. The Fellowship involved training in all aspects of facial surgery including both acute trauma and post traumatic reconstruction, elective osteotomies of the jaw bones and facial aesthetic surgery.

Dr Flood is on the Editorial Board for Selective Readings in Plastic Surgery, which is used as a core curriculum for plastic surgical trainees throughout the world. The Editorial Board is based in Dallas, Texas. He is also and author of peer reviewed papers as well as a number of book chapters.

Dr Flood participates in Interplast and has been on overseas trips to the Marshall Islands and Fiji in the past. He is married with five children and supports Médecins Sans Frontieres, an international medical aid organisation.

The procedures Dr Flood undertakes at our facility include:

Facial cosmetic procedures including blepharoplasty and facelift
Breast surgery.
Excision of lesions ie:
BCC (basal cell carcinoma)
SCC (squamous cell carcinoma)
Melanoma
Lentigo maligna

Many of his operations involve various extensive types of flap repairs. Most of Dr Flood’s patients require Local Anaesthetic with or without sedation. Some patients are prescribed antibiotics and pain relief medication to use at home.
