Our Quality Culture is based on the following steps:

  • Focusing on known risks to our patients such as falls, medication safety, and infection.

  • Maintaining a Quality Management System in accordance with the National Standards.

  • Promoting a culture of continual quality improvement for all staff

  • Implementing a robust audit schedule to monitor a large range of processes including infection control, workplace safety, medication safety, risk management, antimicrobial stewardship, aseptic technique, and environmental cleaning.

  • Ensuring ongoing education and training for staff to ensure the highest levels of patient care and safety.

  • Seeking feedback from consumers and involving them in the review of our safety and quality systems.

  • Active participation in a Benchmarking Group of similar health facilities to pool resources and experience, and to measure our outcomes and processes against others.
