If Something Does Not Go As Planned
Your Feedback and Concerns
Pittwater Day Surgery welcomes feedback from patients, carers and families. Feedback helps us understand what we are doing well and where we can improve.
If you have a concern or complaint, we encourage you to speak with a staff member during your admission so we can try to address the issue as soon as possible. You may also contact Pittwater Day Surgery after your admission if you would like to provide feedback or raise a concern.
If you would like to provide feedback after your admission, please use the feedback form located at the bottom of this page.
All complaints are taken seriously, reviewed appropriately and used to support ongoing improvement in the care and services we provide.
If something does not go as planned
Pittwater Day Surgery is committed to open and honest communication with patients and families.
If an incident occurs during your care that results in unintended harm, we will speak with you about what happened, what is known at the time, and what steps are being taken. This may include reviewing the incident, answering your questions, and identifying any actions needed to improve care and reduce the chance of it happening again.
If you are not satisfied with the response to your complaint, you may choose to contact the NSW Health Care Complaints Commission for further advice.
