Dr Edwina Eade

Dr. Edwina Eade is a Consultant Ophthalmologist with subspecialty expertise in Oculoplastic, Orbital, and Lacrimal Surgery, as well as Ocular Oncology. She graduated with Honours in Medicine from the University of Sydney and completed her ophthalmology training at Sydney Eye Hospital, including a year at Westmead Children’s Hospital.
Dr. Eade furthered her expertise with a Master’s in Ophthalmic Science, a fellowship in Ocular Oncology at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia and an observership at at Bascon Pamer Eye Institute in Miami. She also completed advanced training in Oculoplastic, Orbital, and Lacrimal surgery at the Royal Manchester Eye Hospital (UK) and the Royal Victorian Eye & Ear Hospital (Melbourne). Bascon Pamer Eye Institute in Miami Dr. Eade is a Fellow of RANZCO, a member of ANZSOPS, and an active researcher with multiple publications and international conference presentations.
Dr. Eade is known for her patient-centered care, addressing concerns and exploring non-surgical options when possible. She performs surgery at Northern Beaches Hospital, Chatswood Private Hospital, Pittwater Day Surgery, and Mater Hospital, and consults at Shore Eye Surgery (St Leonards), Forest Eye Surgery (Frenchs Forest), Mona Vale Eye Doctors, and Norwest Eye Clinic.
Additionally, she is involved in clinical trials related to thyroid eye disease, teaches medical students as a Clinical Lecturer at the University of Sydney, and contributes to the facial nerve palsy team at Chris O'Brien Lifehouse. With a strong commitment to international ophthalmology, Dr. Eade has worked in clinics across Cambodia, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, and India.
