How We Use Artificial Intelligence

Pittwater Day Surgery does not use Artificial Intelligence (AI) to provide clinical care, make clinical decisions, diagnose conditions, or replace the judgement of our doctors, nurses or other healthcare professionals.

 

Our electronic systems are used to support administrative processes such as bookings, billing and the secure storage of clinical documentation. These systems do not use AI to make clinical decisions, provide diagnoses, recommend treatment. Any care you receive at Pittwater Day Surgery is assessed, planned and delivered by appropriately qualified healthcare professionals.

 

Where technology is used within our facility, it is used to support safe and efficient administrative and clinical processes, not to replace patient care or clinical judgement.
